Aflaj Park

A cultural park on the edge of Al Ain built around the aflaj — the traditional irrigation channels that made settlement here possible.
The buildings are pressed into low cracked-earth masses so the landscape stays the subject, and the programme runs from museum and souq through working farm plots to campsites and a canopy walk at the far edge.

The plan follows the falaj line. Buildings sit low and fractured so they read as ground rather than object, and the water channel threads between them.

A working farm sits inside the park rather than beside it: plots, greenhouses and a market shed that supply the souq.
